Several Western leaders said there’s evidence an Iranian missile shot down the commercial flight departing Tehran. And that it may have been an accident: Iran was on high alert after striking U.S. targets just hours before. NBC News

	Iran called the allegations “a big lie” — though officials said they may need other countries’ help with the investigation into Wednesday’s crash, which killed all 176 on board. CNN

The House voted to limit President Trump’s military powers in Iran after he ordered a strike on its top general without congressional approval. The bill’s future is unclear: If it makes it through the Senate, Trump will likely veto it, but some think the effort could still influence his thinking. The Washington Post

Damning internal Boeing messages showed some employees had a cavalier attitude toward the safety of its jets, including the 737 Max, which was later grounded after deadly crashes. “This airplane is designed by clowns, who in turn are supervised by monkeys,” read one message released Thursday.
