Iranian mourners take to the streets

Hundreds of thousands of mourners marched through Tehran on Monday for the funeral of Qassem Soleimani. The ceremony was marked by calls for revenge, with attendees chanting, “No compromise, no surrender, in the battle against America!” The Washington Post

A stampede at the funeral left dozens dead and more injured, Iranian state television said. This story is developing. The Wall Street Journal

	Iranian Americans have come forward with accounts of being detained and questioned at the U.S.-Canada border, some for as many as 12 hours. Federal officials denied the reports. Los Angeles Times

In impeachment news: Former national security adviser John Bolton, a central figure in the events leading to Trump’s impeachment, said he would testify in the Senate trial if subpoenaed. However, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell now has the votes to block the Democrats’ demands for witnesses at the start of the trial (though they could still be called later). The Hill

It was a bad day for Harvey Weinstein. Just hours after he entered the Manhattan courtroom where he will be tried for sexual assault, the disgraced Hollywood mogul was charged with four more counts of rape and sexual battery in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Times
