“The Constitution is not a suicide pact.” On day two of opening arguments in the Senate, Democrats reiterated their case for Trump’s removal, claiming Americans aren’t “stuck with presidents who abuse their power.” They even showed old videos of Trump defenders (including Senator Lindsey Graham) making the same legal argument that Democrats are making now. Pregnant travelers coming to the U.S. may find it harder to get a tourist visa. The Trump administration announced a new rule that would curb what it calls “birth tourism,” when women travel to the U.S. with the intent of giving birth so their children become American citizens.
