Trump extends national coronavirus measures

The president said social-distancing guidelines would remain in place until at least April 30, a departure from his previous aspirations to reopen the country by Easter. The directive came as Dr. Anthony Fauci, a top adviser to the White House, cited figures suggesting millions of people in the U.S. could get infected, and more than 100,000 could die. Axios

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said cash payments to taxpayers, part of the $2 trillion stimulus package, should arrive within three weeks. Meanwhile, some Democrats in Congress are already talking about another rescue bill. CBS News
