Trump was impeached. Now what?

The House voted to impeach President Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Meanwhile, Trump told supporters at a rally in Michigan it was a “suicide march for the Democratic Party.” The Washington Post

Normally, the articles of impeachment would be sent directly to the Senate for a trial to determine whether Trump should be removed from office. But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to commit to a timeline. Democrats’ strategy is unclear; some suspect they’re trying to force the GOP (which controls the Senate) to negotiate on the format of the trial. The New York Times

A judge ruled that a key part of Obamacare is unconstitutional. The federal appeals court ruling — which took issue with the bill’s individual mandate — won’t immediately affect consumers, but it means the Affordable Care Act could once again end up at the Supreme Court. Fox News

Puppies are making people sick. The CDC said at least 30 people in 13 states have been infected with a drug-resistant bacteria they most likely picked up from dogs. Many of the patients had come into contact with puppies at the national pet-store chain Petland. USA Today
