An hour after unveiling articles of impeachment against President Trump, Nancy Pelosi announced that House Democrats and the White House had agreed on a new trade deal with Mexico and Canada. It’s a rare win for both parties: a boon for businesses and workers that can be touted on the 2020 campaign trail. NBC News

	Meanwhile, the chamber began debate today over the two impeachment charges: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. And over in the Senate, Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz is currently testifying on the FBI’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. The Washington Post

Six people died in a sprawling gunfight in Jersey City, including a police officer, three civilians, and two gunmen. Officials believe the assailants, who opened fire at a kosher market, targeted the location. The New York Times

A record deal for the MLB: Pitcher Gerrit Cole is reportedly heading to the New York Yankees with a nine-year, $324 million contract.
