China will slash tariffs on $75 billion worth of American goods starting next Friday, the same time the U.S. plans to reduce duties on some Chinese products. It’s a sign of both sides making good on their trade deal, but the coronavirus outbreak may complicate things: As noted in the agreement, a “natural disaster or other unforeseeable event” could bring Beijing back to the negotiating table.
