We will listen, learn and act.

This is our commitment to stand in solidarity with the global SWEAT community.
Listen Learn Act
There is no room for racial and social injustice in this world.

We know many members of our SWEAT Community have, understandably, been asking questions about what actions we are taking to better understand and address racial injustice and inequality, as well as how we will better represent diversity within our community.

These are very important questions for us, for you in our community, and for everyone who wants to take a stand against racism and injustice.

At SWEAT, we stand in solidarity against racism and injustice.

We are proud of the diversity of our community, but we know we need to do a better job of representing and celebrating diversity across all of our platforms.

We recognise that we have a lot to learn about the systemic racism and injustice faced by Black Americans. As a company founded in Adelaide, Australia, we also recognise that Indigenous Australians have faced historic injustice and systemic racism that continues until this day. We recognise that these issues are faced by many other communities around the world, as well.

At SWEAT, we recognise that we can do more.

We need to listen more, we need to learn more, we need to understand more and we then need to take action to genuinely support the stand against racism.

What steps will SWEAT take now?

Our first steps have been in the form of donations to organisations we wish to support.

We have pledged a donation to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund in the US, and to Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation in Australia. If you would like to donate to either of these causes, we would encourage you to make a contribution if you are able to.

At SWEAT, we will work to be actively anti-racist and more diverse in the future.

As part of our next steps, we will strengthen our business diversity policy by consulting with leading experts, and with our member community. This policy will include a commitment by SWEAT to increase our trainer diversity.

As a business, we acknowledge these are only small first steps for change and we have much more work to do; we are committed to doing this work for everyone in our SWEAT Community.

If there's anything you'd like to see from us, or any resources you've found helpful during this time, please reach out and leave your message to SWEAT in our forum. We want to hear from you.
